India Woman vs Australia women t20 tri-series. match preview Dream 11 fantasy news. match prediction| who win 2018

hi people getting excited match preview for Dream11 match prediction so lates start.

After India posted the second-highest score in T20I history, England made a mockery of it, courtesy Danielle Wyatt's 64-ball 124 carnage. The now one-month home season has gone by without a victory, in fact there have been none since the final run to the world Cup last year for India. More importantly, it has all happened not only because of the might of the opposition, but also due to below-par performances by the hosts.

It wasn't the best time to be India's captain when Harmanpreet Kaur walked out to address the press after India's second successive defeat in the ongoing T20I tri-series in Mumbai

Amidst all this, Harmanpreet searches for solace. And in only 'we're improving' can she find some. "At least as a batting unit, we are showing that (improvement). If you see, in the first innings, the wicket was not that easy to bat on. But the way Mithali di (Mithali Raj) and Smriti (Mandhana) batted, it was outstanding.

And the fact that they will be up against Australia, an opposition that has clinically outdone them all through this period, in less than 24 hours, serves as little consolation

At the 12.3 over-mark, only nine runs separated India and England, despite Wyatt's belligerent batting at the start. But for 25 balls from Mandhana's dismissal, India not only lost two more wickets (Mithali and Veda Krishnamurthy) but also failed to score a boundary. The scoring rate dropped from 10.1 to 9. It is during this period, that England despite losing two wickets, increased the gulf by 15 more runs. For a second game in a row, the failure to keep the momentum going after good starts by the openers has come back to pinch India.

"In the last game, when we got a good start, after that our lower order did not get what we expected from them. So today, when I went for batting, I was looking for runs and whoever was batting with me, I was telling them we have to rotate the strike and we cannot (just) depend on the opening partnership, we have to get lot of runs as much as we can and we got it done."

However, Harmanpreet overlooked that bit by stating that she and Pooja Vastrakar's late onslaught had powered them to a massive score. "Today we worked on that, when we lost Smriti and Mithali di's wicket, we did not slow down the game, we kept hitting the ball. And when we needed boundaries we were getting them, and that is the reason we scored 198."

Even as the Indian skipper was happy with how the batters went on after losing the openers Mithali Raj and Smriti Mandhana in quick succession, she possibly missed what could have been the game-turning point.

As Meg Lanning claimed, and Mandhana later admitted, anything below 175-180 was going to be below-par. And through their batting, Australia showcased just why a target of 153 wasn't competitive enough.

Australia

continued their Indian blitzkrieg with as much conviction in the first T20I as they had done all through the ODIs that preceded this, winning the first game of the tri-series in Mumbai by six wickets. As much as the win was about Australia's commanding show, it was also a reflection of what Smriti Mandhana chose to call, 'mistakes from which we are not learning.'

Given the luxury Australia boasted in terms of a deep batting line up and a flat track on offer, they took little time to go on the offensive. Jhulan Goswami provided the opposition with the early momentum by pitching the balls full with no protection down the ground, allowing the openers Alyssa Healy and Beth Mooney to get off the mark with boundaries straight over the in-field. However, she corrected her length soon and got the reward for it. The fifth delivery nipped back in and breached the defence of Healy to hit the timber.

But India's failure to post a strong total on the board was any indicator as to how far behind they were, a more disappointing state of turnaround was yet to come - with the ball and on the field.

However, even the loss of an early wicket did not deter the Australians from holding back. They went after the bowlers, especially the pacers. In the process, Ashleigh Gardner, who was promoted to No 3, too departed looking to play an ugly swipe, only to lose her stumps.
Even in the charge that the Australian batters were giving, among the trio of pacers, only Goswami looked threatening enough to take wickets. For for the errors that Shikha Pandey and Rumeli Dhar committed, Australians too, beyond brutal, were also spectacular with the bat; like in the fifth over when Mooney managed to find the gap between short third man and backward point for a boundary. To be attempting the shot when there were four fielders manning the region from short third man and point was audacious enough, let alone to be able to get the ball past through them
It didn't help matters that India's fielding, which was spectacular in parts, was almost as much of a let down at other times. The confusion between two of arguably India's best fielders - Veda Krishnamurthy and Anuja Patil - led to a boundary when the ball was coming straight to the former's hands.
With the pacers proving expensive, India fell back on the part-time spin options of Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Roodrigues. But even the offspin duo didn't cause much trouble as Lanning and her deputy Rachel Haynes ensured Australia's smooth passage to victory.
India's decision to cut Australia's scoring options through the cover and mid wicket region didn't bear fruit. The only time it seemed India had gotten back into the match was early in the 14th over when both the set batters - Beth Mooney and Elyse Vilani departed in quick succession.
Their batting was an exhibition of brutal pounding that ensured shoulders dropped on the field and one could see an eerie silence among the 100-odd spectators who had assembled at the Brabourne Stadium. Together, Mooney and Vilani added 79 runs in 57 balls for the third wicket.
